Description
This oval extendable dining table measures 90 cm in length, 70 cm in width, and 74 cm in height when closed. The tabletop has a self-storing leaf mechanism: a central leaf is stored underneath the main top. To extend, pull apart the two ends of the table and lift the stored leaf into place, creating an oval surface of 120 cm in length by 70 cm in width. The table seats two people when closed and up to four when extended (though four people will be somewhat snug). The tabletop is made from MDF with a walnut veneer and a matte clear lacquer. The frame is solid poplar wood painted dark brown. The extension mechanism uses steel slides with a locking latch to secure the leaf. Maximum load when closed is 30 kg; when extended, the leaf itself can hold up to 10 kg, and total distributed load should not exceed 35 kg. The legs are slightly tapered and include felt pads on the bottoms. Assembly is required: attach the leg assembly to the table underside using six screws (Allen key included). The extension mechanism comes pre-installed. Estimated assembly time 10 minutes. The table weighs 16 kg. This product is intended for indoor residential use in small dining rooms or kitchen nooks. Not suitable for outdoor use or for commercial food service. Clean with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid dragging the table across the floor to prevent loosening the leg joints. The veneer is not heat-proof; use trivets for hot cookware. The walnut color may fade if exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
